Milky Way Cake(A Favorite At All Events!) - cooking recipe

8 large or 16 snack size bars
1 1/4 c. sour cream
1 c. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. Crisco (I use 1 stick margarine and 1/4 c. Crisco)
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. molasses
1 egg
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. powdered ginger
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
4 Tbsp. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 c. ground pecans
powdered sugar
Preparation

Grind pecans thoroughly in small batches in a chopper machine or blender.
Cream butter by leaving at room temperature 1 hour or microwave on \"2\" for 1 minute.
