Chop Suey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. beef and 1 1/2 lb. pork, cut into 2 x 1/2-inch strips (separate fat from lean)
    6 medium onions, sliced and separated
    1 stalk celery, sliced
    1 can mushrooms
    1 can bean sprouts
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    4 Tbsp. bead molasses
Preparation
    Fry pork and beef fat; drain off excess fat.
    Put fried fat in deep pot.
    Brown pork; add to fat in deep pot.
    Fry beef.
    As liquid accumulates, add to big pot.
    Next, saute onions.
    Mix these with all other ingredients in large pot.
    Cook 15 minutes. Thicken with cornstarch, mixed with mushroom juice.
    Cook 5 minutes.
    Serve over rice with additional soy sauce.
