Cranberry Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 c. quick cooking oats
    3/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. finely shredded orange peel
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1 (16 oz.) can whole cranberry sauce
    1/4 c. finely chopped pecans or walnuts
    1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
    2 to 3 tsp. milk
Preparation
    Stir together flour, oats, brown sugar, orange peel and baking soda in a large mixing bowl.
    Stir in the melted butter or margarine; mix thoroughly.
    Reserve 1 cup of the flour mixture for the topping.
    Pat remaining flour mixture into an ungreased 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes.
    Spread cranberry sauce over baked crust.
    Stir nuts into reserved flour mixture.
    Sprinkle over cranberry sauce.
    Lightly pat flour mixture into sauce.
    Bake for 25 to 35 minutes more or until top is golden.
    Cool in pan on a wire rack.
    Combine powdered sugar and enough milk to make drizzle.
    Drizzle over top.
    Cut into bars. Makes 24.
