Banana Nut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. oleo
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 c. mashed bananas
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream the first 3 ingredients together.
Sift the next 4 dry ingredients together.
Mix buttermilk with bananas, vanilla and nuts.
Add alternately the flour and milk mixture to the sugar and oleo.
Pour into 2 round 8 or 9-inch pans (greased) or a 9 x 13-inch pan, greased and floured.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes until done in the center.
Cool.
Decorate with cream cheese frosting and banana slices.
May sprinkle sugar in bottom of pan instead of flour.
