Pretzel Letters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. yeast
1 1/2 c. warm water
1/2 tsp. sugar (needed for yeast to rise)
4 1/2 c. flour
1 egg yolk
2 Tbsp. water
coarse salt
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Add flour and knead for 6 minutes.
Cover the dough and let it rise in a greased pan until it doubles in size.
Divide the dough into 12 sections.
Roll each section into long snake-like pieces. Form the pieces into letters.
