Peach Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/3 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    6 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
Preparation
    Sift together dry ingredients.
    Cut in butter until crumbs form.
    Combine milk, vanilla and egg; stir into flour until moistened.
    Spread dough into 8-inch square baking pan.
    Arrange peaches in rows, pressing lightly into dough.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Serves 8.
