Fruit Cake - Old Fashion Country Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 whole eggs
    1 c. butter
    3 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. sweet milk
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. blackberry jam
    1 c. preserves (pear or peach)
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk.
    Fold in jam and preserves.
    Bake in tube pan at 300\u00b0 for 2 hours or until done.
