Butterscotch Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. light brown sugar, packed
    1 egg
    3/4 c. sifted Gold Medal flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Melt butter over low heat.
    Remove from heat; stir in brown sugar until blended.
    Cool.
    Stir in egg.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt and stir in.
    Stir in vanilla and walnuts. Spread in well-greased 8-inch square pan.
    Bake until when touched lightly with finger only a slight imprint remains.
    Do not overbake.
    bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
