German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 hard-boiled eggs
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1/2 c. cider vinegar (not white)
    6 c. sliced cooked potatoes
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Cook bacon until crisp; drain and crumble.
    Save 1/4 cup of drippings.
    Cook onion in the drippings until tender but not brown.
    Blend in flour, sugar, salt, celery seed and pepper.
    Add vinegar and 1 cup of water; cook until thickened.
    Stir in bacon, potatoes and eggs.
    Better if let stand overnight.
