Raspberry Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. oatmeal
Preparation
    Cream together butter and brown sugar.
    Mix flour, baking soda, salt and oatmeal well with first mixture.
    Push half of the mixture down hard on a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Spread a jar of raspberry jam on top of mixture.
    Push remaining mixture down on top of jam.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Cool before cutting.
