Cooked Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cabbage head, stripped of tough outer leaves, washed and shredded
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 inch ham broth or water with 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
Preparation
    Put ingredients in pot.
    Cover; bring to boil.
    Reduce heat to simmer and cook 10 minutes.
