Applesauce-Fudge Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box brownie mix
1 egg
1/2 c. applesauce
1/2 c. water

Preparation

Grease bottom of a 13 x 9-inch pan.
Mix brownie mix, water, egg and applesauce in a large bowl.
Beat by hand, 50 strokes. Don't undermix.
Spread in greased pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
Check brownies for doneness at 30 minutes.
Do not overbake.
Cool completely.
Store in covered container.
