Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef or ground turkey
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 (32 oz.) bottle tomato or vegetable juice
    1 c. uncooked long grain rice
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In a skillet, brown ground beef; drain.
    Stir in the onion, green pepper, garlic and chili powder.
    Cook and stir until vegetables are tender.
    Stir in remaining ingredients; bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the rice is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
