Ingredients

1 stick margarine
3/4 c. white sugar or 1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. coconut
8 oz. pkg. chopped dates
1 c. chopped pecans
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation

In heavy frying pan on low heat, melt margarine.
Add sugar, coconut and dates.
Cook about 5 minutes and then stir in nuts, Rice Krispies and flavoring.
Gently roll into small balls.
Be sure not to pack.
Roll in confectioners sugar.
You may also roll in crushed Rice Krispies, nuts or coconut.
