Carole'S Peanut Butter Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix (Duncan Hines)
    1 c. brown sugar, packed lightly
    2 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. milk
    pinch of salt
    1 c. extra crunchy peanut butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Bake cake according to package directions in a 9 x 13 inch pan.
    Leave it in the pan and punch holes all over it with the handle of a wooden spoon.
    Mix the brown sugar, granulated sugar, salt and milk in a heavy boiler and bring to a boil.
    Reduce the heat just enough to keep it from boiling over.
    Stir occasionally. Cook almost to a soft ball stage and add the peanut butter. Continue cooking and rapidly stirring to break the peanut butter up.
    Cook to a soft ball stage.
    Add vanilla and stir.
    Pour over the cake and let set for a few minutes.
    Serve warm.
