Heavenly Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
4 sq. unsweetened chocolate or 3/4 c. cocoa and 1/4 c. shortening (Crisco)
1 c. margarine
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Melt margarine with unsweetened chocolate.
Remove from heat; add sugar and mix well.
Add 1 egg at a time; beat well. Add sifted flour
and
baking
powder.
Add
vanilla and nuts. Pour in well-greased pan,
9 x 13-inches.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Let cool and cut in squares.
