Quick Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. whole, fresh or frozen, cranberries
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 1/3 c. miniature marshmallows
    1 (8 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained (optional)
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Put cranberries through food chopper, using grinder (frozen cranberries grind best).
    Add sugar and chill 2 hours.
    Fold rest of ingredients into berry mixture.
    Refrigerate 2 hours or freeze in 8-inch square glass dish and serve at a later date.
