Squaw Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sweet milk
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients.
Add milk.
Roll out like biscuits.
Cut in pieces about 2 inches by 4 inches.
Slit the center and fry in deep oil until golden brown.
