Quail Southern Style - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 quail
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. fat or salad oil
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. light cream or top milk
Preparation
-
Clean quail.
Split down back or leave whole.
Dust with combined flour, salt and pepper.
Heat fat in skillet and brown quails.
Add cream, cover and cook over low heat for 25 minutes or until tender.
Thicken gravy, if desired.
