Chili Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. pinto beans
2 lb. lean hamburger meat
1 onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. cumin
1/8 tsp. ginger
1 pkg. Schilling chili mix
1 can tomato sauce
Preparation

Pick out bad beans and wash.
Cover with cold water and soak overnight.
Drain, then put into crock-pot.
Cover again with cold water.
Cook on low until tender.
Fry hamburger meat and onion until meat is lightly brown.
Add remaining ingredients.
Add meat mixture to beans and cook slow another 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Add salt if needed.
