Apple Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. soda
1 c. sour or buttermilk
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1 c. fresh chopped apples
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 3/4 c. flour

Preparation

Cream sugar, shortening and egg.
Add dry ingredients, lastly apples, raisins and nuts.
Stir until blended.
Bake at 350\u00b0.
Ice with caramel icing.
