Kahlua - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 quart vodka
    3 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. water
    3 heaping tsp. of instant cocoa
    1 1/4 c. instant coffee
    1 vanilla bean
Preparation
    Pour vodka into a dark bottle. Combine coffee, sugar, cocoa and water in saucepan. Make a simple syrup (cook until the mixture is the consistency of maple syrup). Cool completely and pour into a bottle. Quarter the vanilla bean and add to the bottle. Seal and put the bottle in a cool dark place for at least a month. Shake bottle once a week.
