Potato Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. mashed potatoes
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. melted shortening
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Mix the first 7 ingredients.
    Save 1 cup of flour to roll out in.
    Roll 1/4-inch thick.
    Deep fry in hot grease for about 2 minutes, or until golden brown.
