Pork Chops With Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 (1/2-inch thick) pork chops
    2 c. onions, sliced thin
    2 c. cold water
    1 1/2 c. instant rice
    2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/8 tsp. marjoram
Preparation
    Trim chops.
    Brown chops 5 minutes on each side.
    Remove from pan.
    Put onions in and brown.
    Add water, rice, marjoram, salt and pepper.
    Mix well.
    Place chops on top.
    Cover and bring to a boil.
    Then cook over low heat for 25 minutes or until tender.
