Babe Ruth Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. light Karo syrup
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 1/2 c. peanut butter
    5 c. Rice Krispies cereal
    1 c. (6 oz. pkg.) chocolate chips
    1 c. (6 oz. pkg.) butterscotch chips
Preparation
    Bring sugar and syrup to full boil. Remove immediately from heat.
    Mix in peanut butter.
    Add cereal.
    Press into buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Melt chips over hot water.
    Spread over first layer.
    Cool.
    Cut into bars.
