Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. whole wheat cereal
    1 c. boiling water
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 c. raisins or prunes
    1 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. salad oil
    2 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    In large bowl mix bran and boiling water.
    Cool.
    Add eggs, buttermilk, oil and raisins.
    Blend.
    Stir together soda, salt, sugar and flour.
    Stir into bran mixture.
    Bake as needed at 425\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Cover the rest, place in refrigerator.
    Will keep up to 2 weeks.
