Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. yellow corn meal
3/4 c. flour
dash of salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. sweet milk
1 egg
2 tsp. baking powder
1 large onion, finely chopped

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together well and drop by teaspoonful into hot grease.
Brown and serve.
