Italian Cheese Ball - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 pkg. dry Italian salad dressing mix
    1 small pkg. pecan nut meats, chopped
    2 green onions with tops
Preparation
    Let cream cheese come to room temperature.
    Combine with dry Italian seasoning mix.
    Chop onion tops in tiny pieces; add to cheese mixture.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Make into ball or log.
    Roll in pecan pieces.
    Chill.
    Serve with crackers.
