Crock-Pot Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) bag red beans
    1 medium onion
    1 pkg. pork sausage, cut in thirds
    1 pkg. smoked ham shanks
    1 pkg. smoked sausage, cut in slices
    1 (2 lb.) bag rice
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight.
    Drain and place in crock-pot.
    Cover with water; then chop onion and cut sausage.
    Add sausage and smoked ham.
    Fill crock-pot almost to top with bean mixture.
    Add enough water to barely cover.
    Cook on high, stirring occasionally.
    Serve over rice.
    Cook rice according to package directions.
