Surprise Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pkg. chocolate butter cake mix
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
dash of salt
1 c. chocolate chips

Preparation

Mix cake by package directions.
Fill muffin cups lined with cupcake papers about
2/3 full of cake batter.
Cream the cream cheese, sugar, salt,
egg
and
then
add
the chocolate chips. Drop by rounded
teaspoonfuls
in
the
center of each cupcake. Bake at 350\u00b0 for
15 to 20 minutes or until done, do not overbake. Cool on
wire rack.
Frost with favorite chocolate frosting.
