Howdy Neighbor Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 yellow cake mix
1 c. toasted coconut
1 c. toasted almonds
2 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Preparation

Follow directions on cake mix. Sprinkle bottom of pan with coconut and almonds (1/4 cup of each).
Add 1 cup coconut almond mixture to batter and stir in.
Sprinkle remainder of coconut almond mixture over top of batter. Sprinkle cinnamon nutmeg mixture over top. Bake according to cake directions.
It's good enough to carry over to the neighbors.
