Baked Venison Steaks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. small venison steaks
    1/4 c. margarine
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    2 large onions, sliced
    1 1/3 c. water
Preparation
    Brown steaks in margarine in skillet.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Blend soup and water until smooth.
    Arrange steaks in greased baking dish and add layers of onions.
    Add half the soup. Repeat layers, ending with soup.
    Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes or until steaks are tender.
