Sour Cream Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
3 egg yolks
2 c. cake flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp soda
1 c. sour cream
3 egg whites

Preparation

Cream butter and brown sugar thoroughly. Add egg yolks, bet thoroughly. Sift dry ingredients together three times, add alternately with sour cream. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in greased pan 350 for 45 to 50 minutes
