Beef Balls Sauterne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1/4 c. fine bread crumbs
    2/3 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. thinly sliced celery
    1 c. sliced green onion
    1/2 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 beef bouillon cube
    1/2 c. Sauterne
    1/2 tsp. each: thyme and marjoram
    1/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Make meat balls of first 6 ingredients.
    Brown in butter or margarine.
    Remove meat balls.
    Add green onion and celery to glaze.
    Saute lightly.
    Add mushrooms, water, bouillon cube, Sauterne, thyme and marjoram.
    Thicken with flour mixed with a little water.
    Add meat balls; heat and simmer 30 minutes.
