Squash Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
    1 egg
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    3 c. grated yellow squash
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 to 3 tsp. crushed red pepper
Preparation
    Combine flour, sugar, salt, milk, egg and oil.
    Beat with an electric mixer until smooth.
    Add squash, onion and red pepper and stir well.
    Drop mixture by tablespoonfuls into a hot, greased skillet.
    Cook until golden brown, turning once.
    Drain on paper towels.
    Yield:
    about 2 dozen.
