Mushroom Almond Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 c. chopped onion
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 pkg. sliced almonds
    2 c. water
    3 beef bouillon cubes
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 can sliced mushrooms
Preparation
    Cook onion in 2 tablespoons butter until tender.
    Add rice and continue cooking until golden.
    Add water and bouillon cubes. Stir well.
    Heat to boiling.
    Cover pan; reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
    Saute almonds and mushrooms in 2 tablespoons butter; add black pepper.
    When rice is tender, add almond and mushroom mixture and mix together.
