Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 baked crust (9-inch)
3 c. cooked and mashed sweet potatoes
3 egg yolks, beaten
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 lb. butter
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. evaporated milk or cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix all together and cook over medium heat until thick.
Stir at all times.
Top with meringue.
