Ingredients

10-inch angel food cake (buy or bake)
6 chocolate peppermint candy patties
1/2 c. nuts
1 qt. vanilla ice cream
1/8 tsp. peppermint extract
Preparation

Cut cooled cake into 4 layers. Use rows of toothpicks to cut even slices. Chop chocolate patties and nuts. Soften ice cream slightly. Stir in candy, nuts and peppermint extract. Keep in freezer until a few minutes before serving.
