Cheddar Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. boiling water
2 c. diced potatoes
1/2 c. sliced carrots
1/2 c. sliced celery
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. margarine
1/4 c. flour
2 c. milk
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
12 oz. pkg. bacon, cooked and crumbled
Preparation

Add vegetables to boiling water along with salt and pepper. Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
Make white sauce of oleo, flour and milk.
Add cheese and stir until melted.
Add to vegetables and water.
Stir in bacon.
Heat, but do not boil.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
