Pineapple Squares (Blueberry, Cherry, Peach...) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cup sugar
1 cup crisco
2 eggs
4 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 cans pie filling (could be different flavors)
Preparation

Mix sugar and crisco until creamy. Add eggs. Mix flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Alternately put flour and buttermilk into crisco mixture. Separate dough into two parts. Chill in refrigerator before rolling between wax paper sheets. Place half, covering bottom into a large baking dish or jellyroll pan. Pour in filling. Top with remaining rolled - out dough. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 - 45 minutes.
