Championship Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    2 pkg. chili mix
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. red pepper
    1 large onion, finely chopped
    3 tsp. green chilies
    1 small clove garlic, minced
    1 large rib celery, chopped
    1 (16 oz.) can pinto beans
    1 lb. beef stew chunks
    1 (14 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    3 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 bay leaf
    1 1/4 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
Preparation
    Brown stew meat and
    ground
    beef; drain.
    Mix the rest of the ingredients, except beans,\tand
    add to ground beef and beef chunks.
    Cut tomatoes very\tfine.
    Simmer
    for 1 hour and then add beans; simmer for
    2
    or
    more hours, (the longer the better). Remove the bay leaf before serving.
