Chicken With Almonds - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 chicken breasts, boned
    1/4 lb. blanched, baked almonds
    1 (5 oz.) can bamboo shoots, drained
    1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained
    1 cucumber, peeled
    1 onion
    3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. chicken stock
    1 Tbsp. dry sherry
    1/2 Tbsp. ginger powder
    1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch mixed with 1 Tbsp. water
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Cut chicken up into uniform squares.
    Place on plate with almonds.
    Thinly slice bamboo shoots, water chestnuts and cucumber.
    Shred onion.
