Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. peaches or more (2 bags of Stillwell) or fresh peaches work well
    1 c. sugar
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. flour
Preparation
    Peel and sweeten to taste at least 1 quart of peaches.
    I use two 16 ounce bags of Stillwell peaches, thawed with 1 cup sugar. Melt margarine in a large baking dish.
    Add the fruit and juice. Mix batter by mixing milk, sugar, flour and baking powder.
    Pour batter over fruit and bake at 350\u00b0 about 1 hour.
