Oven Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. syrup (light or dark)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    5 to 6 qt. popped popcorn
    1 c. salted nuts
Preparation
    Mix the first 4 ingredients; boil for 5 minutes.
    Add baking soda; pour over the popcorn and salted peanuts in large roasting pan.
    Bake in a 250\u00b0 oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread out on a cookie sheet to cool.
    Store in airtight container.
