Mexican Layered Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 pkg. taco or burrito seasoning mix
    1 (16 oz.) can refried or pinto beans
    2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 large tomato, diced
    1/4 to 1/2 head lettuce, shredded
    1 c. sour cream
    1 bag restaurant style tortilla chips
Preparation
    Brown
    ground
    beef; add seasoning mix and 1 cup water. Simmer until
    most
    of the water is absorbed.
    In 1 1/2-quart casserole layer beef mixture, beans and shredded cheese.
    Heat in
    350\u00b0 oven
    until
    cheese
    is
    melted
    (about 20 minutes). Remove
    from oven
    and top with sour cream, tomatoes and lettuce.
    Serve hot with tortilla chips.
    Serves 2 to 4.
