Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 egg whites, beaten
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 1/2 c. 100% Bran cereal
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Put bran cereal in large bowl.
    Add boiling water.
    Cream sugar and oil; add egg whites, buttermilk and bran cereal.
    Stir together dry ingredients and fold into all cereal mixture until moistened.
    Add raisins.
    Spray muffin tins with Pam.
    Fill 2/3 full.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Cool in pan 5 minutes. Remove to rack to finish cooling.
