Mom'S Excellent Shrimp Louisianne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    2 onions, finely chopped
    2 stalks celery, finely chopped
    1 to 2 lb. raw shrimp, peeled
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. chili powder
    2 c. milk
    4 Tbsp. ketchup
    1 Tbsp. dried parsley
    1 link precooked sausage (optional)
    1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper (optional)
Preparation
    Melt margarine in a heavy skillet; saute vegetables.
    Add raw peeled shrimp and saute a few minutes longer.
    Stir in flour, salt and chili powder.
    Add milk gradually and cook 5 minutes over low heat.
    Add ketchup and parsley.
    Add optional items if you want. Cook, covered, for 10 to 15 minutes.
