Beef Stir-Fry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sirloin tip, cut into 1-inch cubes
    1 Tbsp. dry sherry
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. + 1/2 tsp. vegetable oil
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 cloves pressed garlic
    1 Tbsp. oyster sauce
    2 large stalks broccoli (florets)
    2 carrots, sliced diagonally
    1/2 c. beef broth
    1/2 (15 oz.) can corn, spears, baby
    20 fresh snow peas
    1 chopped scallion
Preparation
    Marinate sirloin in 1 teaspoon cornstarch, sherry, soy sauce, sugar, 1/2 teaspoon oil, pepper and garlic for 1 hour.
    Heat in remaining oil in wok on high.
    Stir-fry meat.
    Remove.
    Mix remaining starch with oyster sauce.
    Stir-fry broccoli and carrots for 30 seconds; add broth.
    Cover wok and steam for 1 minute or until vegetables are tender but retain crunch.
    Add corn, peas, scallion, beef and sauce mix.
    Heat until clear and thickened. Makes 4 servings.
