Gail'S Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/3 c. mashed bananas (3 medium)
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    3/4 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Combine butter and sugar thoroughly.
    Blend in bananas, eggs and vanilla.
    Sift flour, baking soda and salt.
    Add to banana mixture, alternating after each addition.
    Add nuts; mix.
    Pour into greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/4 hours.
