Hot, Quick Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. lean ground beef, browned and drained
1 onion
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
1 (48 oz.) can V-8 juice
3/4 c. instant rice
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Combine ground beef, onion, vegetables and juice and bring to a boil. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes until vegetables are tender. Add rice, stir, bring to a boil and cover.
Turn off burner and let set for 15 minutes. Add seasoning.
